We need to reach that happy balance of needs versus wants, of being mindful with our money, and knowing that if we had to, we could make do without an income for a long time. Which brings our family to travel the road to our financial freedom. 2011 will be our No Spend Challenge Year.

In late 2010, we decided that we all wanted to travel the world more, so we need to see all our debts gone to achive this. We are a family of 6, darling hubby and mum, darling teenager son and daughter, and teenagers in training - son and daughter. To achieve this family dream we need to work as a family, so along came the first step of 2011 being our no spend challenge year. Yes it will be a hugh challenge, change of life but the benefits at the end will out way anything that we will have to go through to get there.
